The Thule 515 Prologue Fork Mount Rooftop Bike Carrier 2-Pack makes it easy to carry up to two bikes on your limited-use factory rack. The 515 Prologue Fork Mount Carrier offers stable and secure transport for up to two bikes with two Prologue fork mounts with One-Key lock cylinders and a strong and level extended 38-inch ride-on adapter bar to fit securely to your factory rack.
The 515 Prologue Fork Mount Carrier is equipped with single wall, aluminum wheel trays that fit tire widths of up to 2.6 inches and wheelbases of up to 48 inches. The Prologue fork mount fits all disc/suspension combinations with standard 9-millimeter axles, and it is approved for carbon fiber forks, making this one of the most versatile bike mounts available. Two One-Key lock cylinders are included to lock the bike to the carrier and the carrier to the rack, and the rack is compatible with the Thule One-Key System (sold separately) for additional security and convenience.
Loading and unloading the 515 Prologue is easy. The 515 Prologue sets up with universal mounting hardware and the locking skewer and oversized intuitive-grasp clamping lever are simple to operate. Built to last a lifetime, the rack's locking skewer is constructed out of non-corrosive, stainless steel and the sleek and stylized mounting head is constructed out of high-strength nylon composite.

| Installed on the cross bars for a 2005 Pontiac Vibe. Took several trips works well. It does hang off the back a little and interferes with hatch opening. You can open the hatch but not all the way. Would work better if the whole unit was moved forward about 1 foot. It is a limitation of the OEM cross bars though, not the Thule rack. The option is to buy a Thule 2119 fit kit and 50 inch load bars, mount it over the front door and have the rear mounted to the OEM cross bars. |

| I followed the directions for choosing this rack to go over my 2003 Mazda Protege 5 factory rack. It has a nice design and the rack seems sturdy, but I was not (yet) able to make it fit over my rack. It's so close though that I think I might just need a stronger person to help me with it. Will update if I ever do get it on the car! |
